Gambling regulator iGaming Ontario (iGO) has published a report stating that from April to June 2022, 18 licensed online/crypto-gambling operators in the Canadian province of Ontario collectively earned 162 million Canadian dollars (124 million US dollars). Over the same period of time, the turnover of these companies totaled 4.1 billion Canadian dollars (3.1 billion US dollars). 

The total number of accounts on licensed online casino and online bookies websites was 492 000. The average expense per account was 113 Canadian dollars (86.5 US dollars). 

Recall that in Ontario, the legal and regulated online/crypto-gambling market was opened on April 4, 2022. This is the first province in Canada to legally accept online betting. Licensed operators include such companies as 888, BetMGM, Coolbet, LeoVegas, Fitzdares, FanDuel, Unibet, and bet365.
