The online cryptocurrency casino Stake.com is packing its bags and leaving Great Britain after getting a stern talking-to from regulators. Turns out featuring a porn star boasting about seducing “barely legal 18-year-olds” in your adverts is frowned upon.

In all seriousness, Stake has surrendered its gambling license following an investigation into some of its shady practices. This includes a promotion offering a $10 “free” bet if punters put down $5,000 in a week.

The regulator also wasn’t impressed with Stake’s partnership with an adult entertainer named Bonnie Blue, who bragged in a sponsored video about trying to bed teenage university freshers.

Now, I’ve got no problem with crypto casinos when they play by the rules. But Stake seems to have trouble resisting those quick and easy profits, ethics be damned. This forced exit from Britain is a chance for them to clean up their act.
